Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse

I don’t want to turn this into a movie review necessarily, but I do want to say that I just saw this movie a few weeks ago and it was fucking outstanding. So, first off, the animation was badass. It was a stunning blend of comic book and video game aesthetic. The music was perfectly paired to the characters, the scenes, and it had a cohesive, solid story that made you feel something. Which is impressive, because I’m dead inside.

SO, it was inspiring. That’s the kind of movie I want to see more of. Those are the kind of characters I want to champion. And, if I had any say at all, that’s the kind of animation that I would want to see my WIP turn into.

It was just fantastic.
