The sentence

There are so many ways to write a sentence. It can completely change the feel of the story, of the character, depending on how you phrase it. It can be the hardest thing for me to say something in the right order with all the detail I want to convey. Not only that, every sentence needs to flow with the next.

Surprisingly, she bloomed wide, as if parts of her we're unfurling under the light of attention for the very first time.

It seems clunky, although I have this idea I'm trying to convey...

Surprisingly, she bloomed wide, as if parts of her we're unfurling under the light of attention for the very first time; it made her charming and honest.

I decided it wasn't clunky enough, apparently... It's so long. 

She had bloomed charming and honest, unfurling beneath his light of attention.

So I decided to shave it down and this is what I got. I think I like this 3rd version best?

In the end, I didn't use any of them.
