Writing Update

I’ve been writing like a fiend the past few days and I won’t lie, I’m super proud. I’m worried that whatever inspired me has been slowing down a little and I tried to type up some of which I wrote but I think I”ll be back to pen and paper as that seems to work surprisingly better.

Right now, I’ve been focusing n the method of just writing. Write what I think logically makes sense in the story, whatever inspires me in that moment, and keep going. Don’t pause to rethink the sentence or the words UNLESS it’s an immediate in-the-moment decision. That’s why some words or sentences will be crossed out, but I’m not going back in to edit. I’ll add in notes of things I may want to add before, during, or after a scene, but I won’t go back and write that scene. Just my thoughts.

It’s working really well right now to create a first draft. Fingers crossed!
